This design was a commission for Casa Guanajuato. They asked me to use the song “Hasta la Raíz “ as the main inspiration. “Hasta la Raíz” is a song that expresses the importance of talking about our origin and our roots no matter how much we want to grow.

My idea was to show a bit of our origin and descendants by showing some photos of our loved ones that, although they have already left, we still carry in our hearts, those who participated in the making of this catrina provide photos of our loved ones and they are the ones that adorn this beautiful crown made by Dayesla Ixtli.
